Netflix’s newest hit “K-pop Demon Hunters” has many songs but its most popular one known as “ golden” hit global one for over 100 seconds. The film has flown higher than anyone thought, in just one weekend according to ABC news it made 19.2 million dollars and has over 250 million views currently and only rising. It was made by Sony animation with a budget of 100 million dollars and sold it to Netflix and is getting 120 million dollars in return.
It spread globally as many of its songs are listened to daily. Some people even fall asleep to them. But just because the world loves them doesn’t mean Idaho doesn’t as the spread is also local. On Tuesday August 2025 during the first week of school the hit song “Soda Pop” by the Saja Boys was played from 8:39 to 8:42 over the intercom at Hillcrest high school. Many students were seen singing along to the catchy and bubbly song.
But it also affects individuals positively and negatively. For example, parents have to watch it over and over again because kids love it, siblings get annoyed because their brothers/sisters sing it on repeat, and more. “ It’s on all the time because of my children, “ Hillcrest’s own School Secretary Valerie Wittie said.
