Greatness in sports for Hillcrest is not just on the field but also off the field. That is exactly the case for Hillcrest Baseball. The Hillcrest baseball team builds each other up, and works hard to play the sport they love. “I love baseball and the joint effect of the team and the feeling of winning. I loved first base and how to be good enough to be replied to on the pick and ball that’s thrown to me. I love winning and proving I’m the best at my position and showing that we are the best program. I love the teammates and the coaches that always want to do better and be better,” said Owen Ferguson (11).
“We have a great environment. Everyone works hard during and out of practice.” Cole Croft (9) said. Hillcrest baseball players don’t just focus on themselves but also their teammates. “We’re all great friends, we push each other to be the best we can be.” Said croft. “I play baseball because I make great friends on the team. It’s incredibly fun, it’s the best because its hardest sport.” said Sam Willson (9)
