High school students are often asked by their parents and teachers what they want to do for a career. Most of the time, they will suggest the traditional route, college. This route is more of a short break between high school and college. It’s the road of self-discovery. You also have the option to travel the world depending on your budget.
There are careers where having a college degree is required. If you choose one of these careers and don’t like it, consider trying another one or sticking with it. Overall, college doesn’t have to be the only route to take, and you don’t have to make your decisions today or in a few years. Plus, if you didn’t take the college route the first time, you can still take it at any age.
